THE ATHLETE
While attending Boone County High School in Florence Kentucky, Shaun was touted by ESPN as the #1 football player in the country. Following high school, Shaun attending The University of Alabama, where he later became an All-American. After being drafted in the 1st round by the Seattle Seahawks in 2000, Shaun went on to have a historic NFL career where he set numerous Seattle Seahawks Rushing Records and won the 2005 NFL MVP.

In 2019, the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) announced that there would be a new nationally recognized college football award - The Freshman Player of The Year. In honor of his tremendous freshman season for the Alabama Crimson Tide, they named this award after Shaun Alexander.

The Shaun Alexander Professional Legacy Program is inspired by Shaun’s
personal experiences navigating the challenges of fame, family and leaving a legacy. PLP equips athletes with tools, training and personal coaching so they can master the principles of the 5 F’s (Fame, Family, Friends, Finances and Future), ultimately helping athletes transform into the greatest version of themselves on and off the field.

Harvest Covenant is a disruptive educational model founded by Shaun and his wife Valerie. As parents of 12 homeschooled children, Shaun and Valerie understand both the lack of athletic opportunities available, as well as the need for each child to receive an individualized education.
Harvest is designed for homeschool families who want their children to excel both academically and athletically without compromising their faith or family values.
